HOW DO YOU FUND TRAVELLING AUSTRALIA?

Initially..

We just used our savings and were really aware of our spendings on the road. We believe we travel in a way that keeps costs low (which means more time on the road) such as: Free camping, Budget food shopping, minimal eating out and not travelling large distances (keeping weekly fuel costs low). Once savings got low or there was a good opportunity to work we would work when we needed too for along as we needed too (we found no longer than 3 months) and we saved AS MUCH as we could during that time.

now..

We continue to do the above in regards to working when we need too and BUDGET BUDGET BUDGET however we have been extremely grateful that our followers are enjoying the episodes we create on YouTube. Therefore we are fortunate enough to make a small income off documenting our travels as well as extra support from our Patreon Channel and Merchandise.

HONESTLY.. SOMETIMES

Living in close quarters with 3 young kids (mess, crying & tantrums) it gets frustrating at times however nick and I have always been a strong believer of raising our kids to fit into OUR lifestyle  from birth. We have found that we have ALL adapted to the travelling lifestyle pretty well, keeping an open mind and not doing big days in the car if we can help it. We are forever learning and each day is completely different but we feel this is not any different to living in a house.

IS IT HARD TRAVELLING WITH A NEWBORN & YOUNG KIDS?

HOW DO YOU FIND CAMP SITES & PLACES TO VISIT IN TOWNS?

OUR BIBLE: WIKICAMPS

The phone app WIKICAMPS is an absolute lifesaver and every travellers bible however we also use in conjunction with a HEMA X1 navigator!

Others apps include:

- Hipcamps

- Hema 4x4 Explorer

-CamperX by Hema Maps

- National Parks

- Camps Australia Wide

- Air camp

We take note of where other travellers have been too in towns via their social media accounts. Another great place to visit is information centres which are nearly in every town you visit!

JUST DO IT!
